This book is easy to read, easy to use, and easy to understand. It is a complete run down of all the necessary details and niceties to make for a wonderful, memorable wedding. She is not overbearing on the etiquette aspect of a wedding, but gently and kindly explains the effects of doing things in a "proper" way. I have enjoyed reading this and have found it enormously helpful. I would suggest this as the first place to go for wedding advice.

I’m not sure you can mail it to yourself unless you just put it in your mailbox it would be better to just hand it to them, it be funner to watch their reaction

If they are your roommates, I would personally just give them their invitation. No need to mail it to them. They will probably find it funny if you do.

You should address two separate envelopes, one for each and you can hand deliver them. Or stick them in the mail box with the other mail so when they get the mail they will see them. I think that’d be kind of cute.
